Petzl Huit Antibrulure figure-eight descender for decending on single or double ropes.
The square shape of the Petzl Huit Antibrulure reduces twisting of the rope and helps to prevent the formation of a lark's head knot. This device is forged from aluminium to give it high strength. The small hole of the Huit can also be used with thin ropes using the small hole or as a belay plate. The Huit Antibrulure has the addition of a thumb sized tag at the top of the device to allow it to be handled without gloves after a long descent.
